CO2 fire extinguishers are devices filled with non-flammable carbon dioxide gas under pressure. They have a stiff horn and do not have a pressure gauge, which is found on many other types of fire extinguishers. Unlike foam or powder fire extinguishers, they leave no residue, making them ideal for use in locations where residue damage cannot be tolerated, such as computer rooms or food preparation areas.
